After ordering your VPS, you will have access to our DNS Manager in our billing portal.
First, create the DNS zone by associating your domain name with your virtual server's IP address and pointing your domain to our dns servers via your domain registrar's control panel (pdns1.sgc-hosting.com/pdns2.sgc-hosting.com or cdns1.sgc-hosting.com/cdns2.sgc-hosting.com - your choice!).
Next, you'll edit the zone and create two records
The first zone, enter @ for the "name" field, then select A as the record type, then enter your server's main IP address in the "target" field. This will point yourdomain.com to your VPS.
To point www.yourdomain.com to your VPS, create a new record with www as the "name" field, select cname as the record type, and enter yourdomain.com as the target. You will now have yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com reach your VPS!
